Summary: We loved Zelda's! Great location! The room was comfortable, and we slept great in the bed. The complimentary breakfast was perfect. We also enjoyed watching the 4th of July fireworks outside in the courtyard. They do have a ramp, but if you are uncomfortable with stairs, you should call to get a lower-level room.

Summary: The downtown location of this hotel is incredible - you can walk to restaurants, shops, and breweries. Parking was easy, the room was TO DIE for, the whole property is incredibly clean, tbe breakfast is delicious, there’s coffee/tea/water all the time, the patio between houses is super nice, the bed was super comfy and the bathroom was amazing. 15/10, literally cannot wait to go back.

Summary: Zelda Dearest is the most charming place you can stay in Asheville. A mix of comfort, luxury, and convenience made better by the excellent staff. They remember and treat their returning guests exceptionally well. There’s plenty to explore close by, but this is a wonderful place to enjoy on its own. Slow mornings in the courtyard or starting the evening at Wine & Roses. You leave your stay feeling restored and refreshed, but I’m always terribly sad to check out. No amount of days here is enough!

Summary: We travel to Asheville multiple times per year. This is an amazing boutique hotel. Great location. Beautifully appointed rooms. A delicious continental breakfast. Warm staff. 5 stars all around!

Summary: Yes, the bar area had what might be needed. Parking area felt safe. Would have preferred a different breakfast the second morning; same egg dish and muffins, cold. No fruit was served the second morning? A warming tray would be a good addition, or keep the egg warm in the kitchen oven. The bar needs an espresso machine - a classy place like yours needs to do better than that pedestrian coffee.

Summary: We absolutely loved Zelda Dearest. This place has quickly become our go-to when we’re in Asheville — the 1920s vibe, the atmosphere, the staff — all of it just works. Breakfast was fantastic and the perfect way to start the morning before heading out to explore downtown. The location is great too, easy walking distance to everything. If you haven’t stayed here yet, you’re missing out. We’ll definitely be back.

Summary: I can’t say anything negative about this establishment, and if I could it wouldn’t be for a lack of effort on the employee’s part! Every instance the staff were eager to assist us with anything from passionately recommending restaurants, cleaning rust off the bathroom vanities, coming in on some of their off days to salt the walkways when it snowed, and even sharing the recipe for their wonderful chocolate banana bread. I loved staying here, the grounds are beautiful and thought is put into every bit of it. Extremely clean, extremely pretty, close to everything you need, and very honest people. We will definitely be back to Zelda Dearest! Shoutout to Regina, Garrett Matthew, and Jake! Their personalities contributed to our love of the place Ps: I lied. my only complaint was the lack of a microwave in our suite, but a small price to pay for everything else to be, quite literally, perfect
